In this Document we are going to go over how to replace the PowerEgg Propellers

WARNING: DO NOT HAVE YOUR POWEREGG BATTERY IN THE POWEREGG

Time required: 5-20 mins

Items you will need:

  • PowerEgg Docking station
  • New Propellers (CW or CCW)
  • Rubberized Gripper (i.e. Jar opener, or an RC Car rubber drive belt)
  • Your PowerEgg

STEP 1

Place your PowerEgg Docking station in front of you.  Take your PowerEgg and open the Arms up fully till they lock.

STEP 2

Place your PowerEgg upside down on the docking station

STEP 3

Working on only 1 propeller at a time, make sure that it is the right propeller you want to change CW or CCW (I am working on the CCW)

STEP 4

Slip your rubber grabber around the housing of the motor, and while applying pressure, turn the propeller clock wise for CCW and counter-clock wise for CW.

STEP 5

Take your new propeller and screw it on the motor shaft till the threads are just on the shaft but not falling off Screw down the propeller until tight, once this is done (if CCW you are now turning counter-clockwise to screw it down or CW is clockwise to screw it down)

STEP 6

Set up your PowerEgg connect to the App, while being the safe distance away from your PowerEgg, unlock the motors, and let them run for 1 to 2 mins and then shut off the motors pulling the left joy-stick to the bottom left corner and then hold down the return to home button until you see the motors fully stop.

STEP 7

Making sure that you set the controller down where no one else can use it or get accidently turned on walk over to your PowerEgg and inspect your propellers to see if there is any gapping from them being turned on if no gapping has occurred then you have just successfully replaced your propellers.

STEP 8

GO FLY and HAVE FUN.
